Cozy mobile games for winding down at night
Not every game needs to spike your heart rate. Some of my favorite phone sessions happen right before sleep, with a quiet, low-stakes game that asks nothing stressful of me.
Lanternwood Tales has been my go-to lately. It's a point-and-tap adventure with soft art and puzzles that reward patience instead of speed. Perfect for a tired brain.
I also keep a couple of gentle casual games around for nights when I don't even want a story, just something to do with my hands while my mind unwinds.
The trick with bedtime games is avoiding anything with timers, streaks, or pressure to keep going. You want a game you can put down mid-thought without feeling like you failed at something.
If your evenings tend to end with doomscrolling, swapping in one of these might genuinely help. It did for me.
