Lanternwood Tales is a gentle adventure game about a traveler who stumbles into a forest village where nothing is quite as it seems. You wander, talk to oddly charming locals, and solve small environmental puzzles by paying attention to detail. It's slow in the best way.

The art is hand-drawn and warm, with soft light filtering through the trees, and the soundtrack is the kind you leave running. Puzzles lean toward observation rather than logic gymnastics, so it never left me stuck and frustrated.

If you want something calm to play before bed, this is it. I finished the main story over a few quiet evenings and wanted more.
